This was a mail art project that some friends and I did right after school. We mailed the poster around and added to it one at a time. It's called Exquiste corpse and it was popular with the Surrealists situated in France in the 1920s.
For us, the idea was just make something, make anything. Free and fun. I think some really fun things happened and the combinations of different elements produced an interesting flow of information. I think I'll take this one step further and repurpose the elements we created into a different medium and add this to my list of paintings.
I am also playing with the idea of keeping this the way it is to have a different sort of piece in my portfolio, but I dunno. Hmm. We'll see.
