I just barely started seeing Taipei. It's about a $3 round trip fare into Taipei from my city. Train and bus travel here is very economical. It'll definitely take some time to get to know this city, but I had a really nice time strolling around Chiang Kai-shek's memorial and the National Theater and Concert Hall.
